Ingredients
Rice
White or apple cider vinegar
Salt
Directions
Wash rice about 2-3 times or until the water is clear (sign all the starch has been washed off)
Add 2 cups of water to 1 cup of rice to the pot
Add a dash of salt and 1 tsp of vinegar to water and rice
Bring the pot to a boil
After pot begins to boil, lower heat to medium-low and let simmer for about 15 mins with the top off of the pot
After the rice has cooked and cooled a bit, fluff with a fork in a large bowl
Side note: Vinegar helps get rid of the starch on the rice and keeps it from being sticky

Lagniappe
If rice is scorched, remove good rice from the pot and not the burnt bottom part and place the rice in a bowl and add 2 slices of bread over the rice and cover bowl. The bread will absorb the burnt smell. It will take about 5 mins.
