Fresh Green Beans with Garlic and Bacon

Ready in 20 minutes


Ingredients


Fresh green beans from the produce section or farmers market

1 tbsp of minced garlic

1 tsp of Cajun Seasonings

Salt and Pepper to taste

Olive Oil

3 slices of fried bacon (optional)


Preparation


Clean and cut the ends off of green beans.


If you are using the bacon, cup up the slices into little pieces and fry in skillet. If not using bacon, coat the skillet with olive oil.


Add the minced garlic after the bacon is done.


Now add your green beans.


Stir and cook on a medium fire for about 10 mins or until your beans become a little tender.


Plate and serve.

Lagniappe

Add diced red potatoes with the green beans and cook until tender for an even more savory meal!
