Cooking with Love

Cooking has always been a great past time for my family and I. And growing up in Louisiana, cooking is a part of our culture. Eating with others is a way to connect and enjoy each other's company along with great food. There is nothing more satisfying than cooking a great meal and having others enjoy it just as much as you enjoy it. I have wondered so many times why does the food taste so much better at one home than the next when each cook used the same ingredients? My answer was that the best cook must have put more love into the pot.....LOL!

The love we put into cooking consist of time, effort, and compassion not only for the meal we are preparing but for the people we are cooking it for. So the next time you are thinking about what to cook for dinner or a dish for a potluck, don't stress and remember to add a dash of love and it will turn out amazing!
